Job summary

Home Group is seeking a part-time care and security-focused role to help keep residents safe and the buildings secure. You will monitor CCTV, greet customers, coordinate repairs, and provide first-line support when the main team isn’t available.

DBS checks are required and training is provided to ensure a calm, respectful approach to all interactions. The role emphasizes working evenings (4:00pm–10:00pm), patient communication, and collaboration with colleagues to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Calm under pressure and effective communicator.
• Experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally.
• Good judgement with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas.
• Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning.
• First line of support when the wider team isn’t available.
• Monitor incidents and respond calmly and fairly.
• Work with colleagues to manage anti-social behaviour.
