Octopus Energy Group is seeking a highly organized Business Operations Specialist to guide new business customers through onboarding to the Octopus Fleet platform. The role emphasizes clear communication, compliance, and a strong customer-service mindset.

In this fast-paced scale-up, you’ll manage end-to-end onboarding, support clients on operational questions, and help refine processes with product and tech teams. Autonomy and a focus on sustainable EV energy are core to our culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service, administrative, or operations experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially for compliance checks.
• Proactive problem-solving and adaptability in a high-growth setting.
• Experience working with KYB or onboarding processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding process for bringing new business customers onto the Octopus Fleet platform, ensuring a smooth start.
• Provide responsive frontline customer support for business clients.
• Perform Know Your Business (KYB) checks and ensure compliance during sign-ups.
• Maintain accurate client records and onboarding progress in the CRM, plus basic status reporting.
• Channel customer feedback to product and tech teams to refine tools and processes.
