Job summary

Essex Police is seeking a proactive EUC Support specialist to join the 2nd line IT End User Computing team. You will manage, install and troubleshoot Windows 11 devices and Microsoft Office 365 applications, supporting frontline officers and staff across Essex and Kent Police from the Chelmsford HQ.

The role requires a valid driving licence, adaptable teamwork, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with some flexibility for home-working.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows 11 operating system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Office 365).
• Effective communication skills, ideally from customer service experience.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line EUC support across Windows-based devices and applications.
• Support officers and staff across Essex and Kent Police.
• Work from Essex Police HQ in Chelmsford with occasional travel to other sites.
• Balance office-based tasks with remote working where appropriate.
