Job summary

United Lincolnshire Hospitals is seeking a motivated Logistics Support Technician (Band 3) to join the Digital Services team in Lincolnshire. The role delivers, deploys and supports IT equipment across sites, ensuring timely delivery and accurate asset records. It is a fixed-term 12-month contract, full time, 37.5 hours per week.

The post requires hands-on device deployment, stock management and customer support, with NHS AfC Band 3 pay, and a strong focus on teamwork and service delivery.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English & Maths Grade C or equivalent.
• Formal computing qualification or equivalent level of experience.
• Customer Service Qualification.
• EDCL or Equivalent.
• Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft OS and software.
• Experience providing technical support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, image, configure and deploy laptops, PCs and other digital devices.
• Deliver, collect and install IT equipment at locations across Lincolnshire.
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for deployed equipment.
• Coordinate and schedule equipment deliveries and collections to meet service levels.
• Support equipment refresh, disposal and decommissioning activities.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and support teams during deployments.
• Assist with audits, stock checks and continuous improvement within logistics.
• Work flexibly across Digital Services teams to support operations.
