Job summary

Pattern is seeking a Merchandise Planner to drive demand planning and inventory management for its European Brand Portfolio. You will work within the Replenishment & Automation Pod to align forecasts with budgets and to refine automated forecasting models across emerging marketplaces.

You’ll use data and algorithmic tools to optimise stock, lead cross‑functional collaboration with Ecommerce and Finance, and help ensure 95%+ availability on core ranges while supporting sell‑through on seasonal

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
  • Experience in Demand and Supply Chain Planning.
  • In-depth understanding of merchandising and trading approach.
  • Previous experience with an eCommerce channel (e.g. D2C).
  • Highly commercial mindset with strong data focus.
  • Curiosity and drive to take on new challenges and implement automation.

Responsibilities

  • Owns forecasting, planning and inventory management for the European Brand Portfolio, focusing on Emerging Marketplaces.
  • Drives alignment across commercial trading functions, inputs into budgets, Maintains WSSI forecasts.
  • Uses data, models and algorithmic tools to maintain stock and sales projections, identifies risks and opportunities.
  • Leverages trading levers to achieve inventory, revenue and margin targets, using automated replenishment rules.
  • Provides insights into forecast deviations and collaborates on solutions, with automation of planning processes.
  • Presents Buying Strategy & Sell In-Sell Out forecasts to external clients across marketplaces.
  • Oversees category intake, manages OTB, ordering and selection to ensure 95%+ availability.
  • Works with brands to ensure order fulfilment and supply chain efficiencies.
  • Drives operational excellence through stakeholder collaboration and tech improvements.
