Job summary

ASOS is seeking an Assistant Merchandise Planner to support the Head of Merchandise Planning and the Merchandise Planner. You will drive day-to-day analysis of trade performance, create forecasts, and deliver insights to support decision making across the merchandising team.

You will participate in trade meetings, monitor stock health, and overlay performance with customer data to guide trade decisions. The role is based in the UK, with a focus on optimizing revenue and profitability.

Qualifications

  • We require commercial mindset and strong numerical ability.
  • Experience in fashion merchandising and/or data insights is essential.
  • Experience maintaining sales, stock, intake and OTB trackers/forecasts.
  • Ability to make fast, well-informed decisions in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results for ASOS.com.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills; proficient in Excel at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the Head of Merchandise Planning and the Merchandise Planner.
  • Monitor performance and surface opportunities and risks.
  • Participate in trade meetings with Merchandisers and Head of Merchandise Planning.
  • Deliver insights on stock health and sell-through to meet customer demand.
  • Overlay performance with customer data to inform trade decisions.
  • Create forecasts in PGRTPs and Excel for budgets and scenarios.
  • Maintain commitments, OTB and intake records.
  • Use revenue and profitability as a key performance measure.
  • Provide end-to-end KPI visibility at the product group level.
