Job summary

dSb Recruitment Consultancy Ltd. is partnering with a multi-channel fashion brand to appoint a Merchandiser responsible for planning, trading and forecasting activities.

The role covers margin analysis, range planning, and demand forecasting across web, wholesale and marketplace with hybrid working (1 day from home). Applicants should be based in the UK, in or near West Yorkshire, and have strong numerical and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of analysing and reviewing data and processes.
• Numerate, accurate with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
• WSSi experience and range planning and building.
• Experience as a Junior Merchandiser or Merchandiser, from another retailer, ideally within fashion.
• Experience of range building and trading your own department.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analysing margin, sales, data, product requirements
• Managing your own area including OTB, WSSIs and highlighting opportunities or risks
• Establishing range plans for each phase of the calendar
• Forecast demand to optimise stock levels for both web, wholesale and marketplace
• Reviewing monthly budgets and sales trends
• Producing trade reports weekly and analysing performance
