Job summary

Good Tuesday seeks a Buyer & Merchandising Manager to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time and with healthy margins. You will lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, and purchase-order management across ecommerce, wholesale and marketplace channels.

The role is hands-on, staying close to sales data, supplier lead times and PO activity while building scalable systems, reporting and processes for efficient planning.

Qualifications

• At least four years’ experience in merchandising, demand planning, inventory planning, or related role.
• Strong experience in sales forecasting, stock management and purchase-order planning.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups and forecasting models.
• Confident using AI-enabled tools to support analysis, forecasting, reporting and process improvement (training provided).
• Able to combine data, technology and sound commercial judgement.
• Clear communicator managing multiple suppliers and timelines.
• Experience across ecommerce and wholesale channels is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting, Inventory and Merchandising: analyse sales and stock data across ecommerce, wholesale and marketplace channels to forecast demand and inventory requirements.
• Build and maintain SKU- and channel-level forecasting models.
• Monitor sales, stock cover, sell-through and product availability daily.
• Respond quickly to changes in demand, wholesale orders and marketing activity.
• Track forecast accuracy and improve planning assumptions.
• Identify stockouts, excess stock and slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Balance product availability with margin, cashflow, MOQs and stockholding risk.
• Produce weekly and monthly sales, stock and performance reports.
