Job summary

VANRATH seeks an Estimator-Specialist Joinery in Dungannon, Northern Ireland to prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for bespoke joinery packages on high-profile projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for bespoke joinery packages
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support cost planning
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Collaborate with design and project teams for handovers and pre-construction support
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities during tender process

About you

• At least 3 years of relevant surveying experience within the construction sector
• Third level qualification in Surveying or related field
• Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT, and FIDIC contract forms
• Proven track record in managing contractual claims and disputes
• Proficiency with conquest estimating packages and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines
• Willingness to travel across and outside of the UK as needed
