Job summary

Fit Out UK in West London (Park Royal / NW10) is seeking a Senior Joinery Estimator to own the accurate costing of bespoke joinery packages. You will work with the Commercial Manager, production team and suppliers to drive profitability and workshop efficiency.

The role requires strong numeracy, attention to detail and experience in joinery estimating, with a focus on BOMs, routing, and detailed costings. Immediate start and long-term growth are offered within a market-leading group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Senior Joinery Estimator

Fit Out UK - West London (Park Royal / NW10)

Fit Out UK is a leading interior fit-out contractor and relocation specialist, delivering high-quality projects across the Retail, Leisure, Commercial and Residential sectors. We operate our own joinery workshop in West London and are looking for a skilled and commercially minded Senior Joinery Estimator to join our manufacturing team.

The Role

You will take ownership of accurate, competitive estimating for bespoke joinery packages, working closely with the Commercial Manager, production team and external suppliers. This is a key position that directly supports profitability and efficient workshop output.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate customer quotations (internal and external) for joinery and related manufacturing packages, approved by the Commercial Manager
• Take full responsibility for the accuracy of costing on the 123 system, including review and refinement of historical joinery products
• Estimate material, labour and outsourcing costs for timber, sheet materials, hardware and specialist joinery items
• Manage tender responses where required, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers
• Prioritise in-house joinery manufacturing to maximise workshop capacity and efficiency
• Create and maintain parts, full Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing structures
• Support the outsourcing process and place purchase orders for materials and specialist items as needed
• Assist the Commercial Manager with stock valuation reporting to accounts and the Commercial Director
• Support the Commercial Manager with additional tasks to drive efficiency, accuracy and profitability across the joinery operation

Skills & Experience

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and process accuracy
• Numerically competent and commercially astute
• Proven experience in production / joinery estimating
• Ability to interpret joinery drawings, specifications and material take-offs
• Familiarity with estimating software / ERP systems (123 system experience advantageous)
• Clear communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
