A civil engineering company based in the United Kingdom is seeking an Estimator or Senior Estimator to manage bid preparations and submissions for contracts. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in estimating for civil engineering projects, as well as exceptional analytical and communication skills. We are now on the lookout for an Estimator or Senior Estimator to work out of our Tamworth or Chesterfield office. The main purpose of this role is to deal with the preparation, processing and submission of tenders for contracts by calculating the costs involved in supplying a product or service that meets the client’s technical specification.
A full UK driving licence is essential as there may be some travel to Huntingdon, Peterborough, or similar. There will be the occasional need to attend meetings and reviews at head office in Ipswich. This role will report directly to the Pre-Contracts Director who is based at Head office in Ipswich.
