Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an Estimator in West Yorkshire (Halifax) for a permanent role within its technical proposals team. The role combines estimating with project engineering, requiring close collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal teams to develop accurate proposals and support delivered projects.

• Experience estimating within engineering, manufacturing or a related industry.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing customer specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
• Producing material take-offs and detailed cost estimates.
• Obtaining supplier quotations and evaluating project costs.
• Preparing formal quotations, proposals and technical submissions.
• Processing customer orders and supporting project delivery.

This varied role combines estimating and project engineering responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal teams to develop accurate proposals and support the delivery of secured projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing customer specifications, drawings and technical documentation
