Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Electrical Technician to support Estates Engineering Maintenance Services. You will help deliver safe, cost-effective maintenance across hospital sites, with HTM compliance and strong emphasis on asset management, documentation, and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Proven relevant experience working on breakdowns and PPMs on mechanical and electrical plant and equipment found in the hospital environment.
• Able to diagnose and repair faults on plant and equipment found in hospital environment.
• Able to work independently and make decisions based on analysis of information.
• Able to organise and prioritise workloads.
• Experience of supervising maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a small group of managerial and technical staff who manage and operate complex technical systems and processes across the Trust.
• Appointed to named/designated/competent/authorised person roles as per HTM and Health & Safety docs.
• Support Estates Officers, develop and implement working strategies and processes.
• Responsible for asset management and technical support for maintenance across all trades.
• Complete data entry into paper and electronic systems (job dockets, asset management, timesheets, stock sheets).
• Cover the on-call rota for Scunthorpe and assist at other sites during periods of operational pressure.
