East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking an Electrician Technician for Estates Maintenance. The role involves maintenance and installation across hospital facilities, with supervision as needed, to support reliable services for patients.

You will diagnose faults in healthcare building services, carry out preventive maintenance, and order spares. Travel between sites is required, with a mileage allowance if using your own vehicle. On-call duties are 1 in 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and installation work on facilities, plant and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair faults on healthcare building services (hot water boilers, electrical distribution, pumps, controls, alarms).
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on listed equipment.
• Order engineering spares, materials and equipment as needed for works.
• Travel between hospital sites; mileage allowance if using own vehicle.
