Job summary

Otis Vantage London, 10th Floor, Great West Road, Brentford, London. Otis is seeking an experienced escalator call-out and repair engineer to join our Transport for London team, covering the London Underground escalator portfolio.

Your priority is passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of escalator units. You will carry out breakdowns and repairs, liaise with customers on site, and ensure first-time fixes where possible.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering with significant experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
• Experience with a variety of brands and equipment.
• Flexibility for overtime when required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
• Committed to safety and able to communicate well on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and repair work on escalators within the portfolio to keep operations running.
• Work within the London Underground network and manage the escalator portfolio.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns with a view to first-time fixes.
• Liaise directly with customers on site to build a positive working relationship.
