Job summary

Otis London is seeking an experienced escalator maintenance engineer to join our Transport for London team. The role focuses on safely maintaining a portfolio of escalator units across the London Underground network.

You will carry out breakdowns, repairs and service tasks, ensuring safe operation while liaising with customers on site and building professional relationships. Overtime may be required and a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• (significant) service and maintenance experience on escalators.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Flexible with overtime and site visits.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and repair work on escalators to ensure continual operation.
• Work within the London Underground network, managing the escalator portfolio.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and strive for first-time fixes.
• Liaise with customers on site to foster good working relationships.
