Job summary

KONE is seeking an Escalator Field Trainer to support Installation teams across the UK, combining technical training with hands-on coaching in the field. This nationwide role offers exposure to multiple projects, teams and locations and the chance to directly raise installation standards.

You will coach apprentices and improvers, deliver training on escalator installation, fault finding and repair, and provide live support on site, with regular overnight stays and travel paid.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• CSCS card is required.
• Significant hands-on escalator installation experience is required.
• NVQ Level 3 Escalator Installation (QCF) programme required.

Responsibilities

• Coach apprentices, improvers and engineers to develop technical competence.
• Deliver training on escalator installation, fault finding, repair and working methods.
• Provide technical support and coaching during live installation work.
• Support introduction of new products, tools, methods and processes.
• Identify skills gaps and provide targeted development.
• Carry out practical assessments and sign-off Pathways.
