Job summary

KONE is seeking an Escalator Field Trainer to support Installation teams across the UK. This nationwide role involves field coaching, travel and occasional overnight stays, with overtime and travel paid. You will coach around apprentices and improvers alongside skilled engineers to raise installation quality and standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Significant hands-on escalator installation experience.
• CSCS card and NVQ Level 3 Escalator Installation are required.

Responsibilities

• Coach apprentices, improvers and engineers to build technical competence.
• Deliver escalator installation, fault finding, repair and working methods training.
• Provide technical support during live installation work.
• Identify skills gaps and deliver targeted development.
• Carry out practical assessments and Pathway sign-off.
• Promote safety, quality and installation standards.
