Job summary

KONE is seeking an Escalator Field Trainer to support installation teams across the UK. The role combines technical training with hands-on coaching in the field, spending substantial time on-site with regular overnight stays.

You will mentor around 15 apprentices and improvers, helping build competence and consistent nationwide standards. With strong escalator installation experience, you will coach across projects, share best practices, and drive safety, quality and installation standards while

Qualifications

Significant hands‑on escalator installation experience.
Strong ability to coach and develop apprentices and engineers.
Willingness to travel across the UK and work away from home as required.

Responsibilities

Coach apprentices, improvers and engineers to develop technical competence.
Deliver training on escalator installation, fault finding, repair and working methods.
Provide technical support during live installation work and sign‑offs.
Introduce new products, tools, methods and processes; identify skill gaps.
Carry out practical assessments and Pathway sign‑off; intervene early on quality issues.
