Job summary

James Cropper is embarking on a major ERP transformation programme and seeks an ERP Project Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Kendal. You will join the team working with the ERP Project Manager, stakeholders, technical teams and partners to keep the programme on track.

You will coordinate plans, governance, meetings and dashboards, ensuring decisions and actions are captured and audit-ready. The role requires a proactive, highly organised individual who can move activities forward

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, PMO support or project administration within a complex change or technology environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication with technical teams, senior stakeholders and suppliers.
• Experience maintaining project plans, documentation and governance records.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, dependencies and change control.

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive ERP Project Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, helping to drive the successful delivery of this exciting business-wide initiative.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure, organisation and momentum to complex projects. Working closely with the ERP Project Manager, business stakeholders, technical teams and implementation partners, you'll become a key part of keeping the programme on track and ensuring important decisions, actions and milestones don't get missed.

What You'll Be Doing

As ERP Project Coordinator, you'll provide the coordination and governance support that keeps a complex transformation moving forward.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the management of project plans, milestones, workstreams and delivery schedules.
• Coordinating project meetings, workshops and governance forums, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
• Maintaining project logs covering risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, changes and deliverables.
• Producing project dashboards, reports and status updates for project and business leaders.
• Coordinating activities across internal teams, subject matter experts and external implementation partners.
• Supporting resource planning, project communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Managing project documentation and ensuring governance records remain accurate and audit-ready.
• Assisting with project financial administration, including purchase orders, invoices and budget tracking.
• Supporting business readiness, testing, training, cutover and go-live activities throughout the programme lifecycle. ]

What We're Looking For

You’ll be a highly organised individual who enjoys coordinating people, activities and information to achieve successful outcomes.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience in project coordination, PMO support or project administration within a complex change or technology environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with technical teams, senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Experience maintaining project plans, documentation, governance records and reporting packs.
• Practical knowledge of project governance, risk management, dependency tracking and change control.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills and experience using project planning and collaboration tools.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up actions, challenge gaps and keep activities moving forward.

Experience in any of the following would be particularly valuable:

• ERP or enterprise system implementations.
• Manufacturing or multi-site organisations.
• Data migration, testing, training, cutover or go-live activities.
• Supplier management and project financial administration.
• PRINCE2, APM, Agile or other project management qualifications.
