Job Description
Experienced ERP Oracle Financials Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and how to leverage relationships in the Oracle ecosystem, both internally and with Oracle partners. This global multi-billion dollar Tax SaaS provider is a well-known industry name, offering Tax determination solutions worldwide. It provides a cutting-edge, full cloud solution embedded in major ERP providers. As Sales Director, you will lead a team of 3 and sell to ERP clients through your contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, their partners, and clients.
The Strategy behind the Role:
Ideally based with strong contacts within Oracle’s sales teams and partners. Your focus will be on selling Enterprise Tax determination solutions, leveraging your ERP Financials expertise and network.
You will work with Oracle Sales and Partner Sales teams to generate leads and close deals in the UK & Ireland, targeting upper mid to enterprise-scale deals backed by a multi-billion dollar business.
You will develop a team focusing on individual ERP providers to develop enterprise deals.
You will report to SVP level and promote a hunter sales culture.
Location: South East England – primarily London or South England. Hybrid working with at least 2 days in the office per week.
Salary: Competitive Sales Director salary, variable bonus, benefits, and vested stock in an imminent exit business.
Your Background:
Over 10 years in senior sales, with a proven track record closing enterprise deals valued between $500 million and $3 billion.
Expertise in ERP Financials Solutions, particularly Oracle and ideally SAP ecosystems. Experience leading a team and using formal sales methodologies like Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, Sanderson, or similar, within the UK&I territory.
Hands-on Sales Director capable of building and leading a team of 3-4 specialists in ERP providers and selling third-party Tax SaaS solutions that automate finance operations globally.
Ability to sell Tax or E-invoicing solutions into clients with major ERP systems requiring automation.
Ideally:
You possess a strong contact database within Oracle and its partners to develop deal pipelines.
Experience selling Tax SaaS or E-invoicing solutions is advantageous, but ERP solutions are the primary focus.
