We are seeking an experienced ERP Oracle Financials Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and the ability to leverage relationships within the Oracle ecosystem, including internal contacts and Oracle partners. This role is with a global multi-billion dollar Tax SaaS provider, renowned in the industry for delivering Tax determination solutions worldwide. The company offers a cutting-edge, full cloud solution integrated with major ERP providers. As Sales Director, you will lead and coach a team of three, and will be strategically positioned to sell to ERP clients through your contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, partners, and clients.

The Strategy behind the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a robust contact base within Oracle’s sales teams and partners, focusing on selling Enterprise Tax determination solutions. A strong background in ERP Financials is essential to effectively sell tax solutions and network within this space efficiently.

You will leverage relationships with Oracle Sales Executives and Oracle Partner Sales Executives to generate leads and accelerate deals from initiation to closure in the UK & Ireland.

The role involves hunting for deals in the upper mid-market to enterprise-scale, supported by a multi-billion dollar business.

You will develop a team focused on specific ERP providers to cultivate enterprise deals.

The position reports to SVP level and requires leading by example to foster a hunter culture.

Location: South East England – primarily London or South England. Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Salary: Competitive Sales Director salary, with variable components, benefits, and vested stock options in an imminent exit business.

Your Background:

You have over 10 years of senior sales experience, with a proven track record of closing enterprise deals in the $500 million to $3 billion market range.

You possess expertise in ERP Financials Solutions, with in-depth knowledge of Oracle and ideally SAP partner ecosystems. Experience leading a team, utilizing formal sales methodologies such as Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, Sanderson, or similar, and thriving in the UK&I territory is required.

As a Hands-on Sales Director, you will build and lead a team of 3-4 specialists focusing on different ERP providers, selling a third-party Tax SaaS product that automates tax processes at a global level.

You are capable of selling tax or e-invoicing solutions into clients with major ERP systems requiring automation.

Ideally, you will have a network of Oracle and partner contacts to develop a strong deal pipeline.

A background in selling Tax SaaS or E-invoicing solutions is advantageous, but ERP solutions are the primary focus.

This global Tax SaaS provider is highly profitable, with a strong market presence and significant growth opportunities. You will have the influence to shape sales practices and develop a major deal pipeline within this established brand.
