Experienced ERP Oracle Financials Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and how to leverage relationships within the Oracle ecosystem, both internally and with Oracle partners. This global multi-billion-dollar Tax SaaS provider is a recognized name in the industry, offering Tax determination solutions worldwide. It provides a cutting-edge, full cloud solution embedded in major ERP providers. As Sales Director, you will lead and coach a team of three, and will have the opportunity to sell to ERP clients through your contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, their partners, and clients.

The Strategy behind the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong contact base within Oracle’s sales teams and Oracle partners. You will hunt deals around these contacts, selling enterprise tax determination solutions. A strong orientation in ERP Financials is essential to sell tax solutions effectively and to network within this space efficiently.

You will leverage relationships with Oracle and Oracle Partner sales executives to generate leads and accelerate deals from initiation to closure in the UK and Ireland.

The role involves hunting for deals in the upper mid-market to enterprise-scale, supported by a multi-billion-dollar business.

You will develop a team focused on specific ERP providers to develop enterprise deals in this domain.

Reporting to the SVP, you will lead by example and promote a hunter culture.

Location: South East England – primarily London or South England. Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Salary: Competitive Sales Director salary, with variable components, benefits, and vested stock in a company poised for exit.

Your Background:

You have over 10 years of senior sales experience, with a proven track record of closing enterprise deals in markets between $500 million and $3 billion.

You are skilled in ERP Financial solutions, with in-depth knowledge of Oracle (and ideally SAP) partner ecosystems. Experience leading a team and familiarity with methodologies such as Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, or Sanderson is preferred. You thrive in the UK&I territory.

As a hands-on Sales Director, you will build and lead a team of 3-4 specialists in different ERP providers, selling a third-party Tax SaaS that enables global tax automation for finance offices.

You can sell tax or e-invoicing solutions into clients with major ERP systems requiring automation.

Ideally:

You possess a strong network of Oracle and partner contacts to develop a robust deal pipeline.

Experience in selling Tax SaaS or E-invoicing solutions is advantageous, but ERP solutions are the primary focus.

This global Tax SaaS provider is highly profitable and ready for an exit, with a strong market presence and significant growth potential. You will influence sales practices and develop major deal pipelines within this well-established business.
