Experienced ERP Oracle Financials Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and how to leverage relationships within the Oracle ecosystem, both internally and with Oracle partners. This global multi-billion dollar Tax SaaS provider is a recognized name in the industry, offering Tax determination solutions worldwide. They provide a cutting-edge, fully cloud-based solution embedded in major ERP providers. As Sales Director, you will lead and coach a team of three, and will be strategically positioned to sell to ERP clients through your contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, their partners, and clients.

The Strategy behind the Role:

Ideally based with strong contacts within Oracle’s sales teams and partners, you will hunt deals around them, focusing on Enterprise Tax determination. You should have a strong ERP Financials background to effectively sell Tax solutions and network within this space at a fast pace. Leverage relationships with Oracle and SAP sales executives and partners to generate leads and accelerate deal closures in the UK & Ireland. Target upper mid to enterprise-scale deals backed by a multi-billion dollar business. Develop a team focusing on different ERP providers to cultivate enterprise deals. Report to SVP level and lead by example to promote a hunter culture.

Location: South East England – primarily London or South England. Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

Salary: Competitive Sales Director salary, with variable components, benefits, and vested stock in an imminent exit business.

Your Background:

Over 10 years in senior sales roles, with a proven track record of closing enterprise deals in markets between $500 million and $3 billion. Skilled in ERP Financials Solutions, with deep knowledge of Oracle (and ideally SAP) partner ecosystems. Experience leading teams and familiar with formal sales methodologies such as Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, Sanderson, or similar, particularly in the UK&I territory. As a hands-on Sales Director, you will build and lead a team of 3-4 specialists in different ERP providers, focusing on selling third-party Tax SaaS solutions that enable global tax automation in finance departments. Capable of selling Tax or E-invoicing solutions into clients with major ERP systems requiring automation.

Ideally:

You possess a strong network of Oracle and partner contacts to develop a robust deal pipeline. Experience selling Tax SaaS or E-invoicing solutions is advantageous, but ERP solutions are the primary focus. This global Tax SaaS provider is profitable and poised for exit, with a strong market presence and significant growth potential. You will have the opportunity to influence sales practices and develop major deal pipelines within this reputable business.
