Job summary

Greene King in Burton upon Trent is seeking a People Advisor ER to provide first-line ER guidance across retail and corporate teams during a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role runs Monday to Friday, 12:00–19:00, with responsibilities including case management, handling calls and emails, supporting with TUPE tasks and letters, and escalating complex queries.

Candidates should know HR practices, payroll, GDPR, and have strong Excel and Workday HCM experience; training and development

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HR people practices, including payroll and compliance.
• Experience with HR systems, especially Workday HCM.
• Understanding of GDPR requirements.
• Strong data management and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage ER cases through Case Management System with accurate details and timely updates.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails with clear communication to managers and stakeholders.
• Build relationships across the business to stay informed and support operational needs.
• Support with letters, day-to-day ER administration, and TUPE-related tasks.
• Act as a point of escalation for more complex queries.
