Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the People team in Kendal on a 6-month FTC. You will provide day-to-day HR guidance, handle employee relations cases, and contribute to reporting, compliance, systems and HR projects.

The role requires robust knowledge of UK employment law and solid HR advisory experience. You will work in a hybrid setup with opportunities to influence across HR processes and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience providing day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Experience producing HR reports and MI from HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice to managers and employees across the business.
• Manage absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance cases.
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
• Produce and analyse HR reports, trends and people data.
• Support HR systems and employee records management.
• Assist with compliance and governance activities in HR.
• Deliver guidance and training on HR processes and policies.
• Support wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
