The Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the People team in Kendal on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees, handle ER matters, maintain policies, and contribute to reporting and HR systems.

This role balances operational support with project work, requires strong UK employment law knowledge, and offers hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home) with an early November start.

Qualifikationen

• Previous HR Advisor or People Advisor experience is required.
• Strong employee relations experience is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience with HR systems and management information reporting is important.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• CIPD qualification or working toward CIPD is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional HR advice to managers and employees across the business.
• Manage employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases.
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
• Produce and analyse HR reports, trends, and people data for decision-making.
• Support the management and maintenance of HR systems and employee records.
• Assist with compliance and governance activities across the people function.
• Deliver guidance and training to managers on HR processes and policies.
• Support wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
