Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join the Salford-based ER Services team on-site. You will provide practical, compliant ER advice to line managers across cases and support TUPE and related processes.

Based in Salford at 310 Broadway, you will handle case administration, maintain records, and ensure compliance with employment law while working with HR Services to log data and calculate redundancy where needed.

Qualifications

• Plan, prioritise and manage high volume of casework to meet deadlines.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Meet deadlines under pressure.
• Take ownership and recommend practical HR solutions.
• Pro-active, practical approach to problem solving.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in line with data protection.
• Good knowledge of current employment legislation and its application.
• Understand regulatory policies impacting ER issues.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programmes, incl. Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide ER advice to managers on informal and formal cases, ensuring employment law compliance.
• Respond to escalated ER queries and record actions in the CSM system.
• Support with letters, documentation and case administration.
• Escalate complex/high risk cases to ER Specialists or ER Manager.
• Guide managers on preparing for ER meetings.
• Collaborate with HR Services for logging, redundancy calculations and case allocation.
• Maintain secure employee records in line with data protection.
• Support TUPE processes including due diligence, letters and welcome packs.
• Stay updated with employment legislation and internal policy changes.
