Qualifications

Job description
Overview

This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of Dental & Medical and associated sub‑assemblies held at KNGD Donnington. Responsibilities

Be responsible for the day‑to‑day processing of TS work orders; ensure work is carried out within current approved data, policies, procedures and management guidance; collaborate with others to achieve required outcomes; act as an ambassador for safety and report all incidents to the TL or Line Manager; establish and understand risk assessments and controls; comply with all safe working practices; build positive customer relationships and respond constructively to requests and internal departments; undertake Technical Services WEMWO; ensure all work is conducted in accordance with approved data.

Be a champion for Continuous Improvement (CI) and develop an understanding of CI tools and methodologies, participating in CI activities as required.

Qualifications
  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Experience of working on Medical Technical Equipment & IMS experience.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety at work.
  • Experience of working to agreed targets.
  • Intermediate PC skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines in an organised and informed manner.

Additional Requirements

This role will require the completion of the Standard Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering (DSEME) Medical and Dental Training Course (11 weeks at RAF Lyneham).
