Job summary

Coworth Park in Ascot is seeking an Equestrian Manager to lead the horse care team, oversee daily routines, and maintain exceptional guest experiences in the stables. You will ensure the horses are well cared for and the facilities reflect the high standards of the Dorchester Collection.

You will mentor staff, manage bookings, ensure safety standards, and contribute to the property's renowned service culture.

Qualifications

• 1st Aid qualification or certification.
• Experience with yard work and horse care.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Commitment to the hotel ethos and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage horses daily routine, feed and exercise to keep them fit and well schooled for guests to ride safely.
• Oversee horses shoeing, worming, saddlery, dentistry and veterinary requirements.
• Carry out daily tasks including feed, hay, muck out, turn out, groom, bandage, and keep the stable, horses and equipment immaculate.
• Guest Interaction – Dealing with enquiries, bookings and requests from internal and external guests in a timely manner.
• Fitting guests with safety equipment before riding and maintaining safe gear.
