Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an Environmental Consultant to lead environmental assessments from feasibility to EIA for major UK infrastructure projects. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, coordinating environmental and sustainability deliverables.

Qualifications

• Requirements: Knowledge of EIA and UK legislation. Experience with DCO schemes would be beneficial.
• Track record in project and construction environmental management with design teams for large infrastructure projects.
• Flexibility to spend time away from home base as needed.
• Ability to manage own work while being part of a wider project team.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent self-starting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from early-stage feasibility and environmental appraisal to full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
• Support project teams, undertaking scoping, preparation and delivery of environmental appraisals and assessments.
• Programme EIA processes, environmental risk management and coordination of environmental, social and sustainability specialists.
