Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to lead environmental and sustainability work on major infrastructure projects in the UK. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, deliver EIA and environmental appraisals, and manage stakeholders to deliver compliant outcomes.

The role emphasizes adaptability, Chartered membership, and leading projects with a focus on net-zero and climate resilience. A hybrid working arrangement and diverse development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and UK legislation.
• Experience delivering environmental and sustainability deliverables on large infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from feasibility to EIA as part of planning applications.
• Scope, prepare and deliver environmental appraisals and assessments.
• Program EIA processes and manage environmental risk across projects.
• Coordinate environmental, social and sustainability specialists within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Produce clear, high-quality environmental deliverables and reports.
