Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate Environmental Consultant to lead environmental assessments for major infrastructure projects. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, scope environmental deliverables, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to drive sustainability across projects. Applicants should have chartered status, UK EIA expertise, and a track record in project delivery, with flexibility to travel

Qualifications

• Experience of EIA and UK legislation; DCO schemes beneficial.
• Chartered status with a relevant organisation.
• Track record in environmental management for large infrastructure projects.
• Flexibility to travel from home base as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects from feasibility to EIA as part of planning applications.
• Manage project teams and budgets; conduct scoping and delivery of environmental appraisals.
• Coordinate environmental, social and sustainability specialists and reviews.
• Influence clients, regulators, and stakeholders to integrate sustainability into design.
• Support line management and staff development; assist with proposals and business development.
