Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a driven environmental due diligence consultant to join our London team. You will deliver desk studies and Phase I assessments to support real estate transactions, including site visits.

Work with a multidisciplinary group, receive a senior mentor, and grow expertise across contaminated land, flood risk and energy efficiency while contributing to clear client reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography or Geology.
• Experience delivering environmental due diligence assessments (Phase I) in a consultancy.
• Commitment to delivering technically robust, timely reporting.
• Experience presenting findings to clients in a clear, timely manner.
• Experience delivering projects under tight timescales.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to self-develop and contribute to a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of desk studies and Phase I Assessments, including UK-wide site visits.
• Autonomously manage due diligence projects from commissioning to invoicing.
• Provide robust technical advice to clients on complex sites with potential liabilities.
• Contribute to business development, project budgeting and wider team initiatives when possible.
