Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science or equivalent.
• Experience in the energy sector is ideal but not essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage obligations under MCPD and UK ETS frameworks.
• Monthly internal tracking and reporting; handle metering issues.
• Arrange and review tendering from external auditors.
• Submit permit variations and enter annual activity data.
• Support subsistence charging and provide forecasting to Finance.
• Assist with permit applications and liaise with external consultants.
• Track emissions monitoring and engage with Environment Agency reporting.
