Job summary

ECO Compliance Solutions Ltd. in Sheffield is seeking an IT Operations & QA Technician to oversee CRM systems, survey data apps, and compliance with ECO-related standards.

You will perform manual and automated testing, liaise with developers, and produce analytics that drive efficiency in energy retrofit projects, while supporting users across the business in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computing, Software Engineering, IT, or Data Analytics.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA/testing certification.
• Experience in energy/compliance sector beneficial but not required.
• Experience in software testing (manual/automation) and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and optimise CRM systems for lead intake, scheduling, compliance.
• Support ECOCS Surveyor App for EPC and retrofit data collection.
• Perform manual and automated QA testing: functional testing, regression testing, bug logging, and validation of survey-data accuracy.
• Audit property-survey data and CRM entries to ensure PAS 2035, ECO4, and GBIS compliance.
• Create performance and analytics reports for digital marketing campaigns, lead conversion, and ROI tracking.
• Maintain SOPs and documentation for IT systems, QA processes, and reporting workflows.
• Provide technical and user support to surveyors, admin teams, and management.
• Liaise with external developers for system updates and integration improvements.
• Recommend automation and workflow optimisation across CRM–App–Installer portals.
