Job summary

Pertemps Northampton is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development - Entry Level candidate for an office-based, full-time role in Corby. You will learn to identify and contact prospective clients, win back lapsed accounts, and secure new business across multiple sectors.

You will manage your own sales pipeline, book appointments, and support revenue growth for a packaging company. Full training is provided with progression into broader client portfolio responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Identify and win new business opportunities across sectors.
• Comfort with cold outreach and presenting to clients.
• Manage your own sales pipeline and appointments.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and drive revenue.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation to identify opportunities and target markets.
• Outreach to re-engage lapsed accounts and acquire new clients.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers from first call to sale.
• Cross-sell products and promote stock to maximise account value.
• Manage the sales cycle, book client appointments, and coordinate travel.
• Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline reporting.
• Work toward revenue and growth targets as you develop in role.
