Job summary

Suits Me in Manchester is hiring an Associate IT Operations Engineer for an entry-level role. You will receive practical training while gaining exposure to endpoint management, end-user support, and business applications in a busy IT Operations team.

You will support employees with day-to-day IT tasks, help with onboarding and offboarding, and work on-site at the Manchester office four days per week. This is a hands-on role designed to grow your IT career through real-world experience.

Qualifications

• Interest in technology and willingness to learn.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Willingness to work on-site 4 days per week.
• Self-directed learning or home-lab experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, first-line technical support to employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues.
• Configure, deploy and support laptops and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 and business applications.
• Assist with user accounts and access requests.
• Record and manage incidents via IT ticketing platform.
• Escalate complex issues to senior colleagues or suppliers.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and maintain records.
• Create user guides and technical notes.
• Contribute to IT projects and service improvements.
