Corecom Consulting is seeking an IT/Technical Operations Engineer in Leeds to join a growing, technically focused team. The role supports end-user devices, cloud infrastructure and security initiatives, with opportunity to broaden exposure across AWS, Linux, automation and ops processes.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, organized and able to manage multiple requests while delivering effective resolutions for colleagues in Leeds, London and remote locations.
We’re working with a growing, highly technical business within the sports technology and data space that is looking to add an IT / Technical Operations Engineer to its Leeds team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who already has solid hands-on support experience but wants to broaden their exposure across AWS, Linux, infrastructure, security and automation.
You’ll become a key point of contact for employees across Leeds, London and remote locations, supporting everything from day-to-day technical issues and device provisioning through to access management, cloud infrastructure and operational improvements.
It’s a varied environment, so organisation and prioritisation are particularly important. We’re looking for someone who takes a structured, methodical approach to support – able to assess urgency and business impact, manage multiple requests effectively and see issues through to resolution rather than jumping reactively between tasks.
Ideally, you’ll have around 1–3 years’ experience within IT Support, Infrastructure Support or Technical Operations and be comfortable taking ownership of issues from initial request through to resolution.
Alongside the technical fundamentals, we’re particularly interested in people who are organised, dependable and comfortable prioritising competing workloads. You should be able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users and bring structure to a busy support environment.

You don't need to be an expert across everything – there's plenty of opportunity to develop into the wider cloud, infrastructure and automation pieces.
You’ll join a small, engineering-led environment and work alongside software engineers, quantitative researchers and data specialists, giving you exposure well beyond a traditional support desk.
There’s genuine scope to improve how things are done, automate repetitive processes and progressively broaden your experience across cloud, infrastructure and security, while remaining hands-on with users and technology.
