Job summary

Boots Hearingcare in Barnsley is hiring a Hearing Wellness Advisor to support customers through their hearing journey, assist Audiologists, and maintain high standards of care in a modern clinic.

You’ll receive structured training at the Boots Hearingcare Academy in Llandudno, with a clear progression route to QHAD and ultimately a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist role. Benefits include salary, 25 days leave, and a comprehensive pension.

Qualifications

• Customer-service background (healthcare or retail ideal).
• Confidence with customers in a consultative environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and administration skills.
• Genuine interest in hearing health and progression into audiology.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm and professional welcome.
• Carry out hearing screenings and pre-clinic checks.
• Support hearing aid maintenance, aftercare, and troubleshooting.
• Assist Audiologists with clinic flow and customer preparation.
• Discuss hearing health and products with customers.
• Manage appointments and customer records accurately.
• Deliver a high-quality, customer-centric service.
