Job summary

GLORY is seeking an Entry Level/Field Service Engineer to cover Slough and surrounding areas. You’ll start from home, visit customer sites, and diagnose technical issues with hands-on support and training from day one.

This entry-level role focuses on problem-solving, reliability, and customer service, with full training, a company vehicle, and clear development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Interest and understanding of engineering/technology.
• Comfortable using a Windows laptop and learning new software.
• Some workplace experience demonstrating reliability, punctuality and customer focus.
• Professional, customer-friendly on-site approach.

Responsibilities

• Start your day from home, travel to customer sites, and manage jobs via our field service system.
• Meet customers, understand issues, and keep them updated as you resolve problems.
• Use a Windows laptop to review system logs, run checks, and record work.
• Carry out basic connectivity tasks (LAN, IP settings) and access device interfaces.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replace modules/parts when needed.
• Test equipment and document actions clearly before leaving site.
• Use quieter times for structured learning and training modules.
