Job summary

SumUp is seeking entrepreneurial field sales partners in the UK to build and own their own business with the support of a leading fintech brand. You will prospect locally, demonstrate SumUp solutions, and close new merchant partnerships, all while managing your diary and pipeline.

You are responsible for a self-directed, commission-only path with ongoing coaching and opportunities for appointments as your portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in high-rejection, face‑to‑face or B2B sales environments.
• Hunter mindset: proactive outreach and handling objections.
• Financial resilience to bridge initial pipeline-building phase.
• Self-directed work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding recurring revenue value and articulating it clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prospect 30 local SMEs each day through face-to-face visits and outbound outreach.
• Conduct consultative selling of SumUp's payments, POS, and operations ecosystem.
• Own your territory and manage your pipeline, CRM, and onboarding process.
• Have at least three real sales conversations daily to generate 3–5 new merchant partnerships weekly.
• Build reputation as the local payments expert within your community.
