Job summary

M&G is seeking a Solution Designer to shape and define technology solutions across Corporate Functions, translating business needs into robust designs that align with architecture, security, and strategy.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams and partners to ensure designs are fit for purpose, support delivery, and contribute to ongoing design discipline across Finance, Risk, HR and more.

Qualifications

• Experience designing technology solutions in complex corporate environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into robust design and delivery.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks, security and regulatory considerations.
• Strong communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with enterprise data, integrations and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear solution designs.
• Produce high-quality designs covering functional, non-functional, integration, data and security aspects.
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards and strategy.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts and delivery teams.
• Identify risks, assumptions and dependencies with mitigations.
• Support delivery teams during implementation to maintain design integrity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices, patterns and standards.
