Job summary

M&G is seeking a Solution Designer to shape technology solutions across Finance, Risk, HR, Legal, Workplace Solutions, Audit and Corporate Affairs. You will translate business needs into robust designs, align with architecture principles and security standards, and work with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.

The role requires experience in complex environments, strong communication, and collaboration with stakeholders and partners to drive value and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing technology solutions in complex corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end solution design including applications, integrations and data.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within structured delivery and governance frameworks.
• Awareness of security, resilience and regulatory considerations relevant to corporate systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and translate them into clear solution designs.
• Produce high-quality designs covering functional, non-functional, integration, data and security considerations.
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards, technology strategy and governance processes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts and delivery teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Identify and manage design risks, assumptions and dependencies with mitigations.
• Assess options and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support delivery teams during implementation to maintain design integrity.
