Job summary

M&G plc is seeking a Solution Designer to shape technology solutions across Corporate Functions. You will translate business needs into clear designs that align with enterprise architecture, security standards and strategic objectives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams and partners to ensure designs are fit for purpose, sustainable and supported throughout the delivery lifecycle. Flexible working arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing technology solutions in complex corporate or enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end solution design, including applications, integrations, and data.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within structured delivery and governance frameworks.
• Awareness of security, resilience, and regulatory considerations relevant to corporate systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• Have at least 3 years’ experience designing Finance & Data Technology Architecture.
• Significant Experience with Oracle Fusion, EPM.
• Significant Experience with Azure Data Tooling. ADF, Databricks, Synapse.
• Ability to understand Data Modelling & Data Governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear solution designs for corporate functions.
• Produce high-quality designs covering functional, non-functional, integration, data and security.
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify design risks and mitigations, ensuring appropriate handling.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations on design options.
• Support delivery teams during implementation to preserve design integrity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and standards.
