Job summary

M&G is seeking a Solution Designer to shape technology solutions for Corporate Functions across the organisation, including Finance, Risk, HR, Legal, Workplace Solutions, Audit and Corporate Affairs. You will translate business needs into clear designs aligned with enterprise architecture principles, security standards and strategic objectives.

Working with stakeholders, delivery teams and technology partners, you will ensure solutions are fit for purpose, deliver value and can be implemented

Qualifications

• Experience designing technology solutions in complex corporate environments.
• End-to-end solution design including data, integrations and applications.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience within structured delivery and governance frameworks.
• Awareness of security and regulatory considerations in finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear solution designs for Corporate Functions.
• Produce high-quality designs covering functional, non-functional, integration and data considerations.
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards and governance processes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts and delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify risks, assumptions and dependencies with mitigations.
• Assess options and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support delivery during implementation to preserve design integrity.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of design practices.
