M&G in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solution Designer – Corporate Functions Technology to shape technology solutions across Finance, Risk, HR, Legal, Workplace Solutions, Audit and Corporate Affairs. You will translate business needs into robust, secure designs aligned with enterprise architecture and governance.

Working with stakeholders and delivery teams, you will ensure designs are fit for purpose, guide implementation, and contribute to design standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing technology solutions in complex corporate environments.
• End-to-end solution design including applications, integrations, and data.
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience within structured delivery and governance frameworks.
• Awareness of security, resilience, and regulatory considerations for corporate systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• 3+ years designing Finance & Data Technology Architecture.
• Significant experience with Oracle Fusion and EPM.
• Significant experience with Azure Data Tooling (ADF, Databricks, Synapse).
• Understanding Data Modelling & Data Governance.
• Knowledge of Finance processes and supporting tech landscapes.

Responsabilités

• Translate business needs into clear solution designs for Corporate Functions.
• Produce high-quality designs covering functional, non-functional, integration, data, and security aspects.
• Ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards and governance processes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and delivery teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and manage design risks, assumptions, and dependencies with mitigations.
• Assess design options and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Support delivery teams during implementation to maintain design integrity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and standards.
