Job description

Our sales team achieves goals through various roles including strategy, data analysis, hiring and training, forecasting, territory design, and sales process optimization. This team is vital to the company's success, utilizing soft skills and persuasion to communicate effectively with customers and prospects. We seek an experienced, motivated sales professional to manage a sales region, responsible for selling and supporting end users and channel partners by understanding client businesses, industry initiatives, and developing compelling proposals to close sales. The role involves building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers within accounts and partners.

Responsibilities:

  1. Exceed revenue quotas monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  2. Address each customer's and partner's inquiries with appropriate solutions based on their needs.
  3. Develop business plans aligned with geographic and business needs.
  4. Engage with business partners where appropriate.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing on marketing plans targeting end users and partners.
  6. Follow up on leads and update internal systems.
  7. Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint’s advantages.
  8. Ensure ongoing account coverage and explore new sales opportunities post-sale.
  9. Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from qualification to closing.
  10. Understand and analyze the territory including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  11. Stay informed about product strategies and market competition.
  12. Maintain high customer and partner satisfaction and uphold the company's core values.
  13. Coordinate sales support with Technical Sales staff.
  14. Engage at all organizational levels within client companies.
  15. Utilize channel management and reporting tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, business, or sales preferred but not required.
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in Identity Management or Security industries.
  • Proven success in quota-driven sales, negotiation, and influencing decision-makers, including C-Level presentations.

Travel: Approximately 50% business travel expected annually.
