Enterprise Account Director - Public Sector / Government

Microsoft Enterprise Services - Cloud Identity Security

The Customer...

We are proud to be retained by an enterprise security solutions provider to hire this Public Sector Account Director as part of an investor-backed growth program to lead their largest Government accounts.

An established and well-respected security services business working in various sectors, both direct and through a significant channel, primarily in the large Government and Enterprise Commercial sectors, with a Microsoft-first vendor strategy. This is a new role to manage key enterprise customers, currently handled by senior leaders, as part of their growth investment.

With a focus on enterprise services and products built around the Microsoft Entra ID ecosystem, this role will involve managing existing enterprise customer accounts and developing new business (about 25%). It offers an exciting opportunity to join during a growth phase.

Experience required...

• Experience selling enterprise Identity Access Management solutions / consultancy services
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Entra ID ecosystem (Entra ID / Entra ID Governance)
• Understanding of Custom Digital Identity Solutions, including centralized Identity
• Experience with large-scale hybrid Identity services, e.g., AD, FIM, MIM, especially for transformation projects

Background...

• Account management of enterprise customers (about 75% of the role)
• Ability to acquire new customer logos (about 25%)
• Experience working in an SI, Enterprise Consultancy, or Microsoft Managed Security Partner
• Understanding of the broader Microsoft Security stack—Cloud Security, Cloud Identities, Copilot for Security, Defender XDR
• Experience discussing complex security solutions with existing enterprise customers and new prospects.
