Job summary

Watford House Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance daily life for residents through engaging, meaningful activities tailored to individual interests and needs.

You will plan group and one-to-one programmes, build strong relationships with residents and colleagues, and support inclusive participation, including those living with dementia. Alternate weekends apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or similar role is beneficial.
• Transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs.
• Build strong relationships with residents and staff to support participation.
• Work as part of the wider team and cover alternate weekends when required.
